Netflix has released a sneak peek of the upcoming mini-series Toute la lumière que nous ne voyons pas, as part of the global event TUDUM. The mini-series is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Anthony Doerr and directed by Shawn Levy, known for his work on hit shows such as Stranger Things and Peaky Blinders. The show boasts a star-studded cast, including Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie, and will be available on Netflix in all countries where the service is available from November 2, 2023.

Toute la lumière que nous ne voyons pas is a mini-series that follows the story of Marie-Laure LeBlanc, a young French girl living in a city where courage and hope stand in stark contrast to the violence and destruction of war. Marie-Laure is played by Aria Mia Loberti and Nell Sutton, and the star-studded cast also includes Louis Hofmann, Mark Ruffalo, Lars Eidinger, Hugh Laurie, and Marion Bailey. The show is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and follows Marie-Laure and her father, Daniel LeBlanc, as they flee occupied Paris with a legendary diamond to prevent it from falling into Nazi hands. They end up in Saint-Malo, where they live with a lonely uncle who broadcasts clandestine transmissions for the resistance. In this idyllic seaside town, Marie-Laure’s journey intertwines with that of an improbable soulmate.
